This project aims to explore the dynamics of hydrophobic contaminants of emerging concern in the food webs of sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) and common sole (Solea solea) in a highly anthropized macrotidal estuary, the Seine estuary. More specifically, the biomagnification ability of alternative brominated flame retardants and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) will be explored. This project benefits from the regular institutional campaigns (NOURDEM, CGFS) for sampling.
